***Jo Apps has been in our lives for years. She was the angelic voice provoking us, 'Keep jumping, you bastards!' on Venetian Snares' classic track 'Dance Like You're Selling Nails'. Then she graced Capitol K, playing bass for a year or two. Some fans know her as the sister of Patrick Wolf, but we wanted her solo material, for it is skillfully crafted, unique and simply breathtaking. So at long last here it is, the debut single from Jo Apps, former sound design student of the Guildhall School of Music and old skool Londontown electronica goddess. This will be the first in a long line of historic tweakage from the dear lady. |
