***Peggy Honeywell fills her bluegrassy-country songs with marvelous sincerity and passion, the stuff childhood daydreams are made of: planets, birds, cats and sunsets. The album was written and recorded between long hours spent painting. Known by her real name in the artworld, Clare E. Rojas is an accomplished painter with work currently on display in the museum show and book Beautiful Losers, which is now traveling the globe. This follow-up to the well received Honey For Dinner is a one-woman show with Honeywell singing and playing all parts (guitar, banjo, tambourine) and, of course, contributing the cover art. The album was recorded in both Chicago and San Francisco, where she currently lives. The San Francisco sessions were recorded by Monte Vallier (Jet Black Crayon, ex- Swell).
