At last, from Liverpool come a group who seem to owe absolutely nothing to the Beatles. Super Numeri specialise in long, intense journeys into music that recall Miles Davis' seventies experiments and the work of Can without seeming beholden to either. The product of a unique communal collective, the results are langorous soundscapes, with a use of live instruments and spiky intelligence which take them a million miles from lazy "ambient" music.
