Debut release from this Australian modern primitive duo. With lyrics cut from dated astronomy texts and ping pong vocal rounds soaked in reverb, PRIMITIVE MOTION create their own brand of spontaneous, steam-driven electronic pop. Their moves recall Joe Jones’ repetitive readymades, and Joe Meek’s "I Hear a New World." Following their work on a sound piece for a gallery opening in Sydney, LEIGHTON CRAIG and visual artist & musician SANDRA SELIG started recording as Primitive Motion. The duo are also part of THE DEADNOTES, a shambling art-punk group that often collaborate with The Legend! (AKA Everett True).
