Originally released in September 1995 and taken out of print after first pressing, Dear You became a cult favorite of a new crop of supporters who burned or eBay'd the album at collector nerd prices. Many new punk, hardcore, emo, and pop bands cite Jawbreaker (and Dear You in particular) as an influence. This special reissue contains extra tracks (the entire session) and a video of "Fireman." Guitarist / vocalist Blake Schwarzenbach is now in Jets To Brazil. Bassist Chris Bauermeister is currently writing his dissertation on Medieval German history.
