His past solo releases are often melancholy, folky affairs that bring to mind Alex Chilton on Big Star's Third/Sister Lovers LP, but this release finds Zach writing the soundtrack to your summer with a couple of bangers that have more in common with the Kinks and Bruce Springsteen.
