Birdman Records has released the fourth full-length solo record by the one-man-alien-band Bob Log III. My Shit Is Perfect smells of past Doo Rag brilliance, finding Log showcasing his slide guitar virtuosity, unusual but butt-shaking polyrhythmic beatitude, and, as loved and expected, his demented take on humanity. How does he do all of the amazing things he does? It is truly mystifying, even to him.   The album's cover concept: Colorforms. The cover comes as a blank stage with stick-ons of Log (cut up into appendages and trunk) and his usual pals by his side (inflatable raft, party accessories, etc.), enabling the owner to create and recreate his or her own cover!  Performing behind a motorcycle helmet, Bob Log III has garnered curiosity and speculation as to his true identity. Is he truly the man that fronted Doo Rag in the early '90s? Is he Andy Kaufman? Or thrill-seeker Evel Knievel? All are valid questions, and questions that Log promises to address on tour after My Shit Is Perfect is released.
