The long awaited, self-produced debut album by KLANG—ELASTICA's DONNA MATTHEWS, along with ISABEL WAIDNER and Japanese drummer KEISUKE HIRATSUKA. A wonderful nine-track follow up to the trio's brilliant 2003 debut single "l.o.v.e./No Thing" 7-inch, delivered with the minimalist aesthetic of krautrock, the repetition of groups like Can and Neu, and the naive funk of no wave. A truly original group, Klang have been attracting attention from all over the British Isles, recently set off on a UK tour with Erase Errata, and were featured on the Sonic Mook Hot Shit compilation with one of the album's stand out tracks "Outside My Area." Released on the all new Blast First (Petite) label.
