MARTIN CREED is one of the United Kingdom’s most celebrated and controversial artists. Often using existing materials or situations, Creed’s work may seem abstract and conceptual in nature but it simply represents a tangible form of communication. Not content to work in the visual realm, Creed also makes music. His music, like much of his art, is simple and unadorned. Think Pink Flag-era Wire though less dour and shot full of whimsy.
