Limited Mu Editions CD, in DigiPack !! Planet Mu present Powerpoints, THE GASMAN’s tenth album in a career spanning eight years. Portsmouth's CHRISTOPHER REEVES has recorded releases for various imprints including Terminal Dusk, Sublight, The Centrifuge and his own label Gasman Music; his sound is that of a haunted seaside rave palace—very dreamlike, wonky and intense. It's reminiscent of later Caretaker and v/vm releases, but adds influences from The Cardiacs, rave stab repetition, odd time signatures and the like. On Powerpoints, his use of the piano has sparked comparisons with Philip Glass's minimal pieces.
