REISSUED! The very first release on Kranky, dating back to 1993, came from perhaps its most revered band. The duo of MARK NELSON (PAN AMERICAN) and CARTER BROWN, later joined by BOBBY DONNE, stretched a harmonized Drift ethos into a whole new context, operating underneath the shoegazing movement with a sound that was at once more daring and effortlessly serene. Prazision is a raw collection of tracks that at times bring to mind the reverberating world inhabited by the Cocteau Twiins' Robin Guthrie, and at others the expanded minimalism of Sonic Youth at their most thoughtful.
