What better follow-up could there be to 2006’s most talked about dubstep single? Bristol’s DJ Pinch follows Qawwali with Punisher, a dark anthem featuring a descending hoover riff doing battle with the famous “Bludclot Artattack” sample (also heard on a recent Ed Rush track). The A-side’s bass drop has to be heard to be believed. Ethnic percussion and warped bass take over on the flipside’s V.I.P. mix.
