Portland musician MARK BURDEN (GET HUSTLE, GLASS CANDY, SILENTIST) delivers a roiling and percussive fifteen-minute piece composed with electronics and piano that conjures John Cage, Keith Jarrett, and Conlon Nancarrow. Drone-metal, doom, ambient searers GROWING—KEVIN DORIA and JOE DENARDO—deliver their “Firmament” from a 2002 session.
