GREAT SLAVE LAKE is AL & DEREK, the former being the Canadian captain of the great ship Scotch Tapes, and the latter being an Austin, TX drone commander. For their Teen Action release they string together a pair of bath-tub sessions, with stricken stoned melodies that bob and loop like a duck in a lake. Using a serious RANGE of found sounds, GSL channel their inner happy gondolier to watercolor images reminiscent of when Frankenstein took January Jones on the honeymoon society wouldn't allow. Two extended water rides, packaged in unique hand-drawn color-fields from the colorblind. Limited to 50 copies.
