When invoked by an ancient spell through a ouija-modified Roland TR-707 drum machine, the rigorously authoritative "Supreme Master" emerges, cracking a metronomic whip on the inevitably subservient dance floor. This battering ram of an acid track will stop at nothing to perpetuate the out-of-context agenda of the Eats Tapes rave council. Also includes a burning anthemic acid soundclash remix from Kid606, and tech-house stompers from Caltrop and Portland ambient disco superstar Strategy (Kranky, Nudge, Orac) Formerly known as Boom de la Boom, the band is already well known to the denizens of the Bay Area's outrocked, out-postured warehouse scene. Their music is a howling acidhouse/art-punk hybrid, mutating the character and context of underground techno by grafting it with influences from the improv and noise scenes. Eats Tapes will be appearing in your living room dance party and warehouse gathering twice this summer while on tour with San Francisco dancepunk quartet Tussle (Troubleman Unlimited) and again on the Tigerbeat6 label tour with Kid606 and Knifehandchop.
