Continuing Planet Mu’s headlong journey into dubstep, the label presents DJ Distance’s anthem “Traffic.” Big on the dub scene for the last six months and getting heavy play from The Plastician, Hatcha, Mary Anne Hobbs and others, “Traffic” is based around a heavy metal guitar riff and grungy bass sounds, making it one of the most distinctive and recognizable tunes around. The flip, “Cyclops,” is a halfstep loper with plently of space and a hollowed-out feel.
