A collection of early recordings from underground St. Louis rock legends THE SCREAMIN’ MEE MEES and local rock writer “HOT” SCOTT FISCHER. The first sessions yielded some wicked chaos and space-age freak out, including a spastic cover of the Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray.” The second session recorded a year later featured some more crazed rambling and free form jamming, with the outer space sounds of the earlier material replaced by a darker sound that hinted at the punk rock that was to come.
