AVAILABLE AGAIN!!! Inspired by seminal compilations of early industrial music such as The Elephant Table Album, Three Minute Symphony, Life at the Top, and the Insane Music cassette series, this collection of 39 tracks brings together 30 international artists united by DIY attitude and resistance to the virtual excesses of modern laptop pop. All have found analogue synthesizers to be the ideal instrument for producing raw, emotive music in a world where the human touch and presence is quickly getting clicked and dragged into oblivion. A 32-page book contains more than 300 photos, lyrics, bios and a statement of purpose entitled "2008: The Analogue Synthesizer as a Folk Instrument of Humanist Resistance." Analogue electronic music no longer represents a post-apocalyptic vision of an uncertain post-human future as it once did at the inception of New Wave in the late 1970s. Featured Artists: A Squared, A Vague Disquiet (with Mark Solotroff of Bloodyminded, ex-Intrinsic Action), Angel of Decay (Jonathan Canady of Deathpile), Audiodakt, Charlie Draheim, Demons (with Nate young of Wolf Eyes), Carlos Giffoni (ex-Monotract, No Fun Productions), Cadaver in Drag, Envenomist, Epee du Bois, Flesh Graey Display, Hive Mind, Human Puppets, Led er Est, Martial Canterel, Opus Finis, Ronin, The Siamese Pearl, Pax Titania, Private Entertainment, Sleep Museum, Spine Scavenger, Staccato du Mal, Three to Forgotten, Tobias Bernstrup, Vendome (Andreas Sippel of Second Decay), Waves (Damion Romero and John Wiese), Wave Tank, Xeno and Oaklander, Zug Im Veins (with Geert Coppens of Twilight Ritual).
