BBC Radio One's firebrand DJ Mary Anne Hobbs presents the third selection of her favorite new artists with the Planet Mu label. The phrase "wild angel" was an expression that Hobbs used for the influential playing of the late Alice Coltrane on her West Coast Rocks special; it could just as easily describe the music on this album.
