J.C.D. trusts in unusual conceptions of usual technological products: the medium being no longer useful to reach the goal for which it is created, but assuming a central relief as purpose itself. Music is the record or the act of buying it, and only occasionally the result of listening. Accordingly J.C.D. has released CDs made of dried meat, medicinal products, tissues, circular saws; LPs made of tombstone fragments; mute tapes inserted in found dead animals; sarcophaga tapes; syringe tapes; turf tapes; books of drawings imbued in body fluids; meaningless items sent to unknown, unaware persons all over the world; and performed unnoticed concerts, actions, performances, and so on.
The L.A.O. umbrella includes no fewer than eighty other active groups, who are also listed under the O.I.N.A. aegis. Most of them are empathetic with the pursuit of eternal stillness: no progress, no meaning to the word evolution; all of these archaic extremists will forever produce the same record or play the same concert, ad libitum.
J.C.D. editions are heavily, ridiculously limited, due to their evident nature of handmade casualties (the most abundant emission has been of five copies), exclusively dedicated to disciples and fanatics, for whom The Ultimate Artisan creates on request.
