He spent the last six months constantly recording his vision of a Spector/Wilson sound, limited to on an 8-track recorder, one mic, and a stack of slightly degenerated pop nuggets in mind. In doing so he likes to keep songs really short and rather grab another beer. Itʼs a one-man project trying to sound like a oneman parade, combining heavy-hearted simplicity with sunny and naive bubblegum pop—imagine what might happen if Southern California was located at the Caspian Sea.
