***“Ronnie & Mags” is the first single from the upcoming NOFX full-length and it sees the band get back to their roots. One glance at the cover art and you get the idea. Lyrically, the title track lambasts ‘80s punk rock public enemy #1 and his British counterpart. Musically it seethes with the aggressive ‘80s hardcore that originally sparked NOFX’s existence. The bside follows suit, with an impossibly fast lead riff and melody. Both songs portend great things for the upcoming full album and will get fans clamoring for the rest of the songs. The 7” is a limited pressing of 5,000 and will be snatched up by the legions of NOFX vinyl collectors out there. (STREET DATE - 8/14/2012)
