***Recorded to a portable tape machine in Goner Records, these two tracks were laid down as the band burned through Memphis, TN on tour. The songs are looser, noisier and a bit more acid-fried than what the band has offered up on record so far. THE SPIDER BAGS’ normal twangy garage crash is augmented here by swirling feedback, dust-raisin’ stomps and an electric psychedelic agitation splitting through the air. DAN and GREGG are joined on this recording by their friends JOEY SIMPSON (second guitar) and former AFGHAN WHIG, PAUL BUCHIGNANI (drums). If you like the Golden Boys (or John Wesley Coleman's solo stuff) and Thee Oh Sees, you'll dig this.
