Washington, DC’s Vestiges and Louisville, KY’s Panopticon have teamed up for a split album on The Flenser. The limited-edition LP contains two of Vestiges’ strongest songs yet—18 minutes of material—and three unreleased tracks by Panopticon (including a Suicide Nation cover).
Vestiges formed in January of 2010 and have already released several critically acclaimed EPs and full-lengths that blend hardcore, black metal, crust, D-beat, screamo and post-rock influences.
One-man North American black metal entity Panopticon has almost a dozen releases under its belt over the past six years, and Metal Underground called the band “... far from traditional, and always dynamic.” In 2012, they released their black metal / bluegrass hybrid masterpiece album Kentucky to great critical acclaim.
