***I’m Not the Man That I Thought I’d Be is a blast of three new songs from ‘80s hardcore revivalists, WESTERN ADDICTION. The title track is a heavy dose of straight forward, teeth-rattling rock that marks an expansion of WA’s sound. “I’m Not the Man…” is also accented by guest vocals from DARA SANTHAI of the metal band SERPENT CROWN. The B-side of the 7” contains two tracks of the throttling hardcore that Western Addiction have become known for. “Clatter and Hiss” is also a preview of things to come, as it will be rerecorded and appear on WA’s second full-length due out later this year.
